Sandra Hamilton

Sandy is our talented receptionist who works Monday – Friday mornings from 8:30 am – 1:30 pm. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on Friday the 13^th! Upon graduating from the University of Louisville, she married, having two wonderful children and is grandmother to five beautiful grandchildren, the heart of her life.

Having moved over 27 times and lived in many different cities within the United States, she finally discovered her passion, Advocacy. She is a compassionate, dedicated and organized individual who deeply cares about abused men, women, children and seniors. Advocating for their place in life turned into working for The Center for Women and Families working directly with the Jefferson County Police Domestic Violence Unit, ElderServe, as Program Director for Senior Victims of Violent Crime, and with SeniorCare Experts feeding indigent and disabled adults and seniors.

Having retired twice she is back at work again. This time living in Vernon, Connecticut and working part-time as the receptionist at a place she loves, Many Rivers Community Acupuncture.
