Everyone needs to do this exercise!

The advent of cell phones and tablets
has wreaked havoc on our bodies.

We now spend hours each day
with our head jutting out,
our upper back hunched,
and our shoulders rolling forward.

We all need to learn how to
actively reengage our postural muscles
to pull our bodies back in alignment.

Lower and squeeze shoulder exercise – Standing position

1. To get to the starting position, raise your shoulders to your ears, then let them drop to their normal resting location.
2. Now ACTIVELY lower your shoulders as low as they can go.
3. Then SQUEEZE  your shoulder blades together.
4. Repeat the active lowering and squeezing motion 5 times.

Try to incorporate this quick exercise into your daily life when you are driving, texting, working at a computer, watching TV, etc.
